(hereinafter refer as IHIM)
(formerly known as INTERNATIONAL MOSQUITO SPIRAL MANUFACTURERS BERHAD.)
BACKGROUND.
IHIM is a business Association which is non-profit orientated originally established in Hong Kong on 4th June 1976. On 4th February 2016 the Secretarial office moved from Hong Kong to Malaysia.
It was incorporated in the form of Company Limited by Guarantee under the regulation of Malaysian Companies Act, 1965.
Its members comprised of Manufacturers and distributors of Mosquitoes coils from all over the world. The association is managed by a team of committee members whom are mainly embarked on mosquito coils and related business. The current term President is Mr.Andrew Yeoh Chin Yek from Quality Coils Industries Sdn Bhd, Malaysia.
On a bi-annual basis, IHIM will organise International level conventions in major cities like Shanghai; Hangzhou; Bali; Jogjakarta; Colombo; Kuala Lumpur etc.. for its members and invited guests from other related Industries. At the conventions, among other events expertise in the field of insecticide; local government agency were invited to present their talks and sharing of valuable technical knowhow with the participants.
Among others, the purpose and objectives of the Associations and to its members are:
- To organise and provide avenues for all members and invited guests from all over the world to gather together to promote unity and foster friendly relationship. To share common knowledge related to the trade and industry of all kind of Insecticide products.
- To organise international forums; conventions and trade exhibitions where members and affiliated parties like suppliers of Active ingredients; chemicals; machineries and other raw materials, merchants …..may meet and introduction of their latest products and innovations.
